As a Tech Lead - Smart Code, you will play an essential role in realizing our client's vision of building a global platform for creation and communication. We are looking for a top-notch ML Engineer who is fluent in programming language semantics and can help us create the world's best development tools. You will be part of a team that pioneers solutions to entirely new challenges, operating at an unprecedented scale and velocity. Responsibilities - Develop machine learning systems, including key computing development, task scheduling, and machine learning system management and operation. - Deploy machine learning services. - Serve machine learning models online. - Iterate and develop the system using customer-driven scenarios. Requirements - Master's degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines with 2+ years of experience. - Proficiency in distributed, parallel computing principles and knowledge of recent advances in computing, storage, networking, and hardware technologies. - Familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and mainstream platforms such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, MxNet. - Proficiency in at least one or two programming languages in a Linux environment, such as C/C++, Go, Python, etc. - Experience in GPU-based high-performance computing is a plus. |

About the team The Global e-commerce team is dedicated to content e-commerce, using international short video products as their platform. Their goal is to become the preferred choice for users to discover and purchase affordable and high-quality products. By providing tailored and efficient consumption experiences, they aim to benefit both customers and merchants in various scenarios, such as live e-commerce and short video content e-commerce. Responsibilities - Lead and manage the content consuming tech team in the US, consisting of Backend, Frontend, and Clientend engineers. - Design technical solutions and provide support to the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with product and organizational objectives. - Define the long-term technical roadmap for the team. - Contribute to technical decisions on projects. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience managing or tech-leading a software engineering team. - At least 5 years of experience in large-scale backend system development. - Strong leadership skills in managing a comprehensive engineering team. - Preferred experience in Internet live-streaming apps and e-commerce. - Excellent business sense and motivation to achieve business goals. - Strong technical learning and adaptability. - Demonstrated sense of responsibility, effective communication, and teamwork skills. |
