Responsibilities – Maintain warehouse safety policies and procedures aligned across the region. – Conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis, continue following incidents until fully resolved and preventive actions are implemented to avoid recurrence. – Perform OSHA compliance audits and safety inspections. – Deliver safety training programs (e.g., forklift, PPE, fire drills). – Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics (incident rate, lost time, near misses). – Interface with external inspectors and insurance departments along with OSHA and other regulatory agencies. Qualifications: – OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred or required). – 1–3 years of experience in safety, EHS, or related fields. – Regular knowledge of federal and state safety regulations (ability to stay updated on changes). – Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. – Must be able to travel up to 50% of work time. – Strong hands-on skills and operational understanding of warehouse safety practices. – Demonstrated consistency in delivering safety programs and results. – Strong cross-functional work experience |
