Key Responsibilities – Work closely with the CFO – Develop and manage accounting systems, processes and internal controls – Oversee all general and subledger postings ensuring compliance with US GAAP – Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP – Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external parties – Ensure compliance with SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley rules and requirements – Comfortable navigating through ERP, various databases, and general productivity software tools – Support Chief Financial Officer in budgeting and forecasting – Liaise with tax advisors in various states and countries as necessary – Consolidate accounting across domestic and international entities – Cash management Qualifications Required – Certified Public Accountant – Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field – Ten years of relevant experience, including at least four years with a Big 4 accounting firm – Highly experienced in accounting operations, enterprise resource planning and productivity software – Experience in supervising accounting personnel Preferred – Familiarity with Bitcoin mining, data centers and/or energy – Experience in capital fundraising and M&A activities |
