About The Company This company is a leading platform in the cryptocurrency space, this company provides blockchain infrastructure services including a secure digital wallet, block explorer, and one of the largest mining pools globally. With a focus on transparency, scalability, and user control, it serves millions of users worldwide by offering tools to interact with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash networks efficiently and securely. Responsibilities – Direct legal filings and compliance with all regulatory and exchange rules. – Draft, negotiate and execute commercial, financing, acquisition and other agreements. – Coordinate legal issues across operations in multiple states and countries. – Assist in due diligence and structuring for acquisitions and partnerships. – Supervise and coordinate work of outside lawyers. – Serve as corporate secretary and prepare minutes and board resolutions. – Liaise with legal authorities, regulatory agencies and trade groups. – Develop policies and procedures for legal and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: – Juris Doctorate degree from a leading university. – Admission to the bar in at least one state, preferably in Texas. – 10-15 years of experience in legal services and/or as in-house counsel. – Deep expertise in U.S. securities laws, regulatory filings for publicly listed companies and AML/CFT. – Highly experienced with commercial agreements. Preferred: – Familiarity with Bitcoin mining, data centers and/or energy would be helpful. – Experience in capital fundraising and M&A activities would be a plus. |
