Responsibilities

-Lead the development of camera pipelines and tuning processes to optimize image quality for smart wearable devices.
-Innovate algorithms for image and video enhancement, addressing challenges like low-light performance, noise reduction, and dynamic range.
-Establish scalable methodologies for camera tuning and image quality evaluation.
-Develop metrics and benchmarks for assessing and maintaining high image quality standards.
-Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of imaging systems.
-Align camera system outputs with machine vision tasks and vision-language models for wearable applications.
-Manage and mentor a team of imaging experts or provide technical leadership in cross-functional settings.


Minimum Qualifications

-Expertise in camera pipeline development, image signal processing (ISP), and image quality evaluation.
-Proficiency in developing algorithms for image enhancement, including HDR, color correction, and low-light optimization.
-Experience with machine vision applications, particularly involving AI-based systems like vision-language models.
-Knowledge of power-efficient algorithm design for wearable or embedded devices.
-Familiarity with systematic tuning methodologies and automated camera calibration tools.
-Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with AI-driven imaging solutions.
-Knowledge of smart wearable design constraints and user experience considerations.
-Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for image quality testing and automation.
