Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Recognition:
– Assist in ensuring compliance with GAAP for revenue recognition, including handling goods billed but held for future delivery and long-term service agreements.
– Support the timely and accurate issuance of customer invoices and help with account reconciliations, addressing discrepancies when necessary.

Accounts Payable:
– Help manage the accounts payable process, including invoice approvals, scheduling payments, and maintaining positive vendor relationships.

Accounting Systems:
– Contribute to the management and optimization of our ERP system to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Audit Support:
– Assist in coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
– Prepare and organize supporting documentation for audits to ensure smooth processes.

Tax Planning:
– Help with the accurate filing of sales tax returns and stay updated on relevant tax regulations. • Support tax planning efforts, including reviewing and preparing income tax returns.
– Assist with managing transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure compliance with international tax regulations.

Finance Management:
– Assist in the development and enforcement of credit policies to manage customer credit risk.
– Help monitor credit limits, payment performance, and support the prevention of bad debt.
– Aid in the management of cash flow, including assisting with cash flow forecasts and identifying potential surpluses or shortfalls.

Insurance Management:
– Assist with the evaluation and management of insurance policies, including pollution and cybersecurity coverage, ensuring adequate protection and compliance with regulations.


Qualifications

– 3-5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the energy, battery, renewables, or a related industry.
– Solid understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
– Experience with ERP systems and basic financial processes.
– Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
– Experience supporting audits and tax filings is a plus.
