Job Overview To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States. Our client is seeking multiple dedicated and detail-oriented Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Specialists to join our quality assurance team. This role is critical in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet our stringent quality standards, thereby supporting smooth production operations and maintaining product excellence. Essential Functions – Lead efforts to establish and maintain front-end quality control processes for incoming structural parts and materials. – Develop and implement effective control schemes for incoming materials. – Identify and address quality issues with incoming materials promptly to ensure smooth production operations. – Conducting abnormal reviews and disposing of defective incoming materials. – Addressing inconsistencies between initial and final product standards. – Leading improvement initiatives and managing major quality issues through corrective actions. – Work to continuously improve inspection techniques and methodologies to ensure high-quality standards. Minimum Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree or above in Quality Management, Science, Engineering, or a related field; with a preference in Chemical Engineering or Material Engineering. – 3+ years of experience in quality management, quality inspection, laboratory management in a manufacturing setting; with a preferred experience in automotive manufacturing industry (e.g., main engine, first-class supplier) and power battery field. – Familiarity with quality inspection tools and methodologies. – Familiarity with TS16949 quality system and quality tools, such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC. – Knowledge of CNAS laboratory accreditation standards and the requirements of laboratory management. – Familiar with the chemical testing and analysis methods (e.g., C-S analysis, IC/GC, ICP) – Proficient in office software suits, with strong data analysis skills and solid report writing abilities. – Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position. – Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level. Physical Requirements – Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs. – Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting. – Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds. – Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required. – Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities. – Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation. |
