About the team

The AI for Science team has been focusing on tackling challenges in natural sciences, including biology, physics, and materials, with computational tools such as Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, High-throughput Computation. Our goal is to create breakthroughs in natural science with new methodology and help the world.

One of our goals is to revolutionize biological science through the development of large-scale foundational models that can be applied to a wide range of biological systems and tasks. To achieve this, we seek to discover model architectures that are both general and scalable in terms of data and parameter size.


Responsibilities

– Stay updated with the latest advancements in computational biology.
– Collaborate closely with team members from diverse backgrounds to tackle challenging biological problems.
– Participate in the development and scaling of cutting-edge models for tasks such as complex structure/conformation generation, molecule design, and unified multimodal modeling of sequence, structure, function, and properties.

Minimum Qualifications

– PhD in computational biology, structural biology, or computer-aided drug design (CADD).
– Industrial or postdoc experience in structural biology or drug discovery.
– Extensive experience in solving biological problems related to biomolecule structure prediction and design using computational tools and domain knowledge.


Preferred Qualifications

– Proven track record in developing new computational methods for biology or drug discovery.
– Proficiency with tools in structural biology, molecular dynamics, or quantum chemistry.
