Team Intro Products are the cornerstone of E-commerce, and GMV is the ultimate goal of E-commerce. Our Shop Merchandise Operations team is responsible for providing E-commerce sellers with rich and scientific product management methods and tools. By enhancing the platform’s product richness and price competitiveness, we continuously incubate and nurture more high-quality and explosive products, ultimately achieving greater GMV growth. What we do – Merchandise operations connect people with goods. Here, we directly serve E-commerce GMV and order volume. All business strategies and system constructions revolve around expanding GMV. – Participate in designing and optimizing industry-leading billion-level product architectures, enabling high-quality products to better connect with users. – Engage in many crucial processes in business activities, such as product selection, pricing, bargaining, and explosive product cultivation, strengthening commercial thinking. – Lead large-scale projects involving dozens of participants. As a backend engineer, you will – Undertake system development work related to our Shop merchandise operations, participate in the construction of multiple core systems, and continuously optimize and improve them. – Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of multiple core aspects in the field of merchandise operations, including supply, pricing, and new product incubation. – Benchmark the industry and continuously plan to enhance the basic capabilities of merchandise operation-related systems, optimizing openness and scalability. – Participate in E-commerce architecture improvements, focusing on system stability and high availability. – Explore new business models for our platform Commerce. Minimum requirements – BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major, 5+ years of industry experience in a software development environment – Skilled coding ability, skilled use of at least one programming language such as Java/Golang/C++, and related technology stacks – Familiar with commonly used middleware, such as message queues, caches, scheduled tasks, etc., and understand the principles of middleware – Possess certain experience in architectural design and implementation, and have a good accumulation in high-availability, high-performance, and high-scalability architectures – Deeply understand the related theories of distributed systems, such as load balancing, distributed transactions, CAP/BASE, etc. Preferred Qualifications – Having led the design or reconstruction of medium and large complex systems, experience in e-commerce and retail-related fields is preferred |
