Our product engineering team is responsible for building an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users. Responsibilities – Provide technical leadership and build high performing teams within your organization, including mentoring junior team members and providing technical support for engineers on the team. – Regularly communicate with business teams and contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product. – Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok. – Be responsible for building an intuitive and reliable shopping flow experience, including browsing product details, check-out, shopping, return, refund, etc. – Be responsible for building excellent shopping experience in TikTok live-streaming and short videos, and building tools for live streamers. Minimum Qualifications – BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 5 years work experience. – 1 years of experience of managing or tech-leading a software engineering team. – Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin. – Good understanding of business, technical abstraction and system module design. – Proven data analysis skills, able to identify product opportunities from technical metrics analysis. – Proven experience in team communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualification – Proven experience with e-commerce or cross-timezone collaboration. |
