What you’ll do – Lead a team of market managers that are responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing successful hotel partnerships across the Americas region to meet or exceed key targets – Collaborate with the Americas leadership team, operation team, and other cross-functional teams to execute, and optimize the business strategy for the assigned market – Responsible for translating the strategies, targets, business priorities, and standards to team members, supporting the rollout of changes, tracking the progress, and driving the business growth – Lead the contracting process with hotel partners and focus on both quality and quantity of new property signings to grow the coverage of the accommodation supply – Conduct data analysis and market trends research, drive our product optimization, and ensure the competitiveness – Systematically monitor team inputs and translate them into business outputs – Provide inputs to the regional leadership team in developing effective and scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies – Represent the company at relevant tradeshows, workshops, and events to promote the brand and products based on business needs – Develop and own relationships with key decision-makers among internal and external partners – Coach and train direct reports continuously, and develop a high-performing team – Other assigned tasks based on business need What you’ll Need to Succeed – Over 5 years of expertise in business development, revenue/yield management in online travel or hospitality industry – Experience working in cold-call sales and ability to leverage different sales techniques – Fluency in English – Valid working permit/visa in the US – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience – Proven track of strong leadership and people management skills – Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels – High level of numerical and analytical skills – Drive for results and have a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry in the Americas market – Ability to communicate the value proposition and recommend solutions to potential partners – Proactive, creative, innovative, be able to drive and manage change in a fast-paced team environment – Team player with a driven “get it done” attitude – Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint – Business travel for market visits 25%+ of the time |
