Responsibilities – Manage and guide systems designs within the scope of the broader area, develop product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems, and provide direct support to cross-functional teams like PM. – Evaluate code developed by other engineers and supervise the execution process of the team, offering feedback to ensure adherence to best practices such as style guidelines, accuracy, testability, reliability, and efficiency. – Establish and communicate team priorities that align with the broader organization’s goals. Foster alignment in strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams. – Set clear expectations for individuals based on their level and role, in line with the broader organization’s objectives. Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss performance, development, and provide feedback and coaching. – Develop a mid-term technical vision and roadmap for your team(s), considering future requirements and infrastructure needs. Requirements – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of working experience. – Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing strategic projects, with at least 1.5 years of experience in people management and team leadership. – Proficient in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications or possessing a strong understanding of the business aspect. – Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms. – Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment. – Responsible, self-motivated, and possess a growth mindset. |
