AI Data Product Engineer
About OCBridge
At OCBridge, we’re redefining how companies discover and hire top talent using the power of AI. As an AI Data Product Engineer, you’ll help build AI features from the ground up: starting with messy, incomplete data and transforming it into real, user-facing products. You’ll wear multiple hats and thrive in ambiguity, working across engineering, product, and data to bring AI-powered recruiting tools to life.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, process, and curate data: You’ll take ownership of sourcing and refining the data that powers our AI systems—critical for building successful products from day one.
- Maintain and extend our internal platform: Support and enhance an existing internal platform used by the team, improving workflows and adding new capabilities.
- Build AI-powered features: Design and implement features that leverage LLMs and intelligent systems to improve how recruiters work.
- Create intelligent search and matching tools: Help surface the most relevant candidates from large talent pools.
- Collaborate across disciplines and time zones: Work closely with product and engineering teammates in the US.
- Prototype and iterate: Rapidly build and improve tools based on user feedback and data insights.
- Take ownership beyond your job title: Embrace a startup mindset and tackle a wide range of technical and product challenges, even those outside your formal responsibilities.
Who You Are
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- You have 1–2 years of full-time experience as a software engineer or in a related role.
- You have full-stack development experience and are comfortable working across frontend and backend components.
- You’re eager to understand the recruiting and candidate sourcing domain, even if it’s new to you.
- You’re comfortable working in an English-language environment, with proficiency in reading and writing, including reading and interpreting English resumes and candidate profiles.
- You’re motivated to work with raw, messy, or incomplete data to build robust systems from the ground up.
- You have experience with, or a strong interest in building LLM-based products, including tasks like fine-tuning models, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and integrating AI into real-world applications.
- You thrive in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and open-ended challenges.
- You’re willing to step outside your comfort zone, take initiative, and contribute wherever needed, whether it’s writing code, collecting data, or talking to users.
- You’re comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones and cultures.
